A multi-objective centralised agent-based optimisation approach for vehicle routing problem with unique vehicles

چکیده
Motivated by heterogeneous service suppliers in crowd shipping routing problems, vehicles’ similarity assumption is questioned the well-known logistical Vehicle Routing Problems (VRP) considering different start/end locations, capacities, as well shifts Time Window variant (VRPTW). In order to tackle this problem, a new agent-based metaheuristic architecture proposed capture uniqueness of vehicles modelling them agents while governing search with centralised agent cooperation. This cooperation aims generate near optimum routes minimising number used, total travelled distance, and waiting times. The innovative encapsulates three individual core modules flexible implementation. First, problem modelled an module that includes its components representing, evaluating, altering solutions. A second then designed integrated, followed multi-objective introduced sort solutions generated based on Pareto dominance. Tests benchmark instances were run, resulting better times, average reduction 2.21-time units, at expense other objectives. Benchmark are modified unique vehicle’s randomising operating tested justify model’s applicability.

A multi-objective memetic algorithm for risk minimizing vehicle routing problem and scheduling problem
In this paper, a new approach to risk minimizing vehicle routing and scheduling problem is presented. Forwarding agents or companies have two main concerns for the collection of high-risk commodities like cash or valuable commodities between the central depot and the customers: one; because of the high value of the commodities transported, the risk of ambush and robbery are very high. Two; the ...
متن کاملA New Competitive Approach on Multi-Objective Periodic Vehicle Routing Problem
This paper presents a novel multi-objective mathematical model of a periodic vehicle routing problem (PVRP) in a competitive situation for obtaining more sales. In such a situation, the reaching time to customers affects the sale amount therefore, distributors intend to service customers earlier than other rivals for obtaining the maximum sale. Moreover, a partial driver’s benefit is related...
متن کاملModel and Solution Approach for Multi objective-multi commodity Capacitated Arc Routing Problem with Fuzzy Demand
The capacitated arc routing problem (CARP) is one of the most important routing problems with many applications in real world situations. In some real applications such as urban waste collection and etc., decision makers have to consider more than one objective and investigate the problem under uncertain situations where required edges have demand for more than one type of commodity. So, in thi...
متن کاملA multi-objective Two-Echelon Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem for perishable products
This article addresses a general tri-objective two-echelon capacitated vehicle routing problem (2E-CVRP) to minimize the total travel cost, customers waiting times and carbon dioxide emissions simultaneously in distributing perishable products. In distributing perishable products, customers’ satisfaction is very important and is inversely proportional to the customers waiting times. The propose...
